Pick'ems

Pick’ems is a minigame where users can predict who they will expect to progress in competitions on RoBall. It gives them allocated time per each stage of the competition to select their winners from events and allows them review the results once the stage has concluded.

Note

Pick’ems is not available on demand due to the setup format and the uniqueness in entry picks. Leagues interested in incorporating Pick’ems should reach out via the Support Server.

Joining

Note

As a pre-requesite, you must have a Roblox account linked to your RoBall account to take part in Pick’ems events.

Joining Pick’ems is possible via the RoBall Games page on the dashboard. Available (and active Pick’ems events) will be listed along with an option to join (or go to the page if already entered). From there, it is possible to join as many Pick’ems events as pleased.

Caution

Some events may have a participation limit. This is a cap on the number of users that can take part in the event. Please ensure to liaise witht your league to verify on whether this is the case. If there is a limit, users must be present within the Roblox Group attributed to the league for which the Pick’ems event is being ran for. Entry will be denied otherwise.

Entry into any event is open at anytime unless specified otherwise however joining earlier allows for participation in earlier stages giving a better chance to boost your score.

Picking

Once on an event page, you will be able to see numerous tabs, with each representing a stage of the event. Some tabs may be inaccesible and will remain until the time listed for the Stage to begin has passed.

Tip

Ask the league attributing to the event for the start times for each stage of the event.

When a stage is open, you will see a list of fixtures on the stage table, simply click the team you think is going to win and your pick will save. That’s it! No save button, select your team and its locked in.

Caution

Stages will have opening and closing times for picks. You may only make your pick selections between these times. Any fixtures you do not make a pick for will remain null and you will not score points.

Please make sure to liaise with your league so you don’t miss out on picks!

RoBall Premium users receive an additional 24 hours on top of the listed picks closing time for each stage.

Once the stage is complete and the matches have been assigned to their fixtures by RoBall (or by the league), the leaderboard will update automatically to reflect this.

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard tab will always be the last available tab on a Pick’ems event page. It contains a leaderboard showing the best users in the event as well as your own position and score. Non-Premium users will only be able to see the top 20 for a given event while those on Premium can toggle to view all users entered into the event along with their score.
