League Management (MyLeagues)
Managing leagues directly on RoBall (or staff-managed in which this doesn’t apply) is strong and continues to grow. To find all available leagues that you can manage, visit the ‘My Leagues’ tab.
A list of available leagues along with your valid access level will be visible.
Depending on the access level you carry to each league, you will see a varying number of tabs once you access the dashboard for that league. A list of the available tabs as well as the access level required for each is listed below:
- Requests: 2
- Access Management: 4
- Authorization: 6
- Settings (including RoBall Rating Factors): 5
- Information: 5
- Statistics: 3
Requests
Section titled “Requests”Required Access Level: 2
On this tab, matches submitted under this given league that are not listed as friendlies can be proccessed. The matches listed may not be in upload order. To review on a match, simply click on the view option on the match card.
All information for the match will become available. You can then choose to approve the match for its given match type (make sure to check this by reviewing the Information tab on the match) or decline it.
To review another match, either press the close option OR click “View” on another match card.
Process All
Section titled “Process All”Above the list of matches, there are 2 additional options, decline all and accept all. These options do as follows:
- Accept All: All matches will either be accepted for their match type
- Decline All: All matches will be set to friendlies
Access Management
Section titled “Access Management”Required Access Level: 4 A view of all users (with linked Roblox accounts) that have rights to the league’s dashboard is viewable here.
To add a new user, the Discord ID of the user must be entered correctly (set to change) before add user is pressed. Note that doing this alone won’t actually save the user’s access to the dashboard. These changes and any changes to existing users’ access levels OR removals from the dashboard entirely must be processed by “Save Access Levels”.
Authorization
Section titled “Authorization”Required Access Level: 6
The most important of important tabs is the Authorization tab. From here, it is possible to create AND revoke match data tokens which are used to allow external submissions to RoBall.
To generate a new token, press the generate button and make sure to read through the provided information.
Once generated the token is copied to your clipboard to you use directly with Roblox Secrets. RoBall will never know your raw token AND it cannot be viewed again once generated, so be careful.
If an issue occurs when performing either, reach out in the Support Server as soon as possible.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Required Access Level: 5
Via the Settings Tab, branding features including the colours for the league can be adjusted (hex codes only). These will be used for league pages and event styling.
It is also possible to change the minimum required access level to make a submission to RoBall (Website Submissions only).
Ratings Factors
Section titled “Ratings Factors”RoBall Ratings (under Games) utilises Factors which are bonsuses and deductions that can be applied to a Player’s RoBall Rating. For the available sport, a list of different events will be available along with a float value. Changing that value (in steps of .1) is not enough to update the factor. You must save the settings (at the bottom) for it to update.
For any other settings changes, “Save Settings” must be pressed to complete.
Information
Section titled “Information”Required Access Level: 5 The Info tab contains the league name and a description for the league on RoBall which can be changed with “Update Information”.
Statistics
Section titled “Statistics”Required Access Level: 3
On this final tab, you can see a summary of the submissions made to RoBall for this league as well as a breakdown of approvals, declined, recency and Match type.
Tournaments
Section titled “Tournaments”Tournaments and Teams can be managed via the “Manage Tournaments and Teams” option at the top of the dashboard.
